LEARN & PRACTISE

Word explorer

Read each word. Look for parts you know. Type each word to practise its spelling.

READ & UNDERSTAND

Reading detective

Year 6 teams present projects to improve their local community. One team proposes safer crossings, another a library sharing shelf and another accessible outdoor seating. Each team describes whom the idea helps, how costs were estimated and how success could be measured. They invite questions, revise their ideas and identify what remains uncertain.

What should a strong project presentation include?

WRITE & IMPROVE

Writing studio

Write a final proposal with a clear problem, two pieces of evidence, a budget and one next step.

Plan one idea, explain it and check that your sentences make sense. You can edit your writing.

TRY THE EXAMPLE FIRST

Maths mission

If 60 people answer a survey and 42 support a plan, 70% support it.

APPLY YOUR LEARNING

Real-world mission

Draw and label a final project pitch. Include who benefits, the evidence and how to measure success.

You can also draw or make the activity away from the screen. Record what you did or what you would make.

SKILL GAME · TAKE YOUR TIME

Challenge gate

Use what you learnt to unlock the gate. There's no timer. Mistakes help you find what to try again.
