Kia ora, I'm Niva.
I'm Niva Gram, founder of Iconic Games, a Māori-owned games and learning company from Aotearoa.
Iconic Games was created from a simple belief: learning should feel engaging, meaningful, and fun. We build games, learning tools, and creative experiences that help people connect, grow, and see themselves in the future of education and technology.
Our mission is to gamify education in a way that feels good enough to stand on its own as a game — not just a quiz with points added on. Whether it is through digital adventures, screen-free games, printable learning resources, or future learning platforms, the goal is the same: make learning more playful, more accessible, and more human.
The long-term dream is to grow Iconic Games into a wider learning and entertainment brand for Aotearoa — supporting tamariki, rangatahi, adults, whānau, schools, kura, and lifelong learners through play.
One day, the vision is to build an Iconic Games Hub in the King Country: a physical space where games, learning, whānau connection, creativity, and local opportunity can come together.

The game teaches
Our core design rule is simple: the mechanic carries the learning. Play should do the work, not sit beside it.
Made in Aotearoa
Founder-led and Māori-owned, Iconic Games is grounded in whānau connection and built for learners across Aotearoa.
Cultural identity
We want learners of every age to see that culture, creativity, and commercial-quality games can belong together.
Learning for everyone
The long-term goal is to build confidence, skills, and opportunity for tamariki, rangatahi, adults, whānau, and lifelong learners through play.
