What is Iconic Games?
Iconic Games is a Māori-owned Aotearoa company creating games, learning experiences and free learning resources. Our core design idea is that learning should happen through the experience itself.
What is Mīharo: Escape the Arcade?
Mīharo is a two-player cooperative browser adventure. Two people use separate devices and solve connected challenges through teamwork, communication and problem-solving.
Do I need to install Mīharo?
No. Mīharo is designed to run in a modern web browser. Visit playmiharo.co.nz for current purchase and play information.
What is the Digital Library?
The Digital Library is a collection of free printable learning resources made for learners, whānau, kaiako, classrooms and community learning settings.
Are the Digital Library resources free?
Yes. The resources currently listed in the Digital Library are free. Individual resource pages explain what is included and who each resource is designed for.
Is Iconic Games a school or accredited education provider?
No. Iconic Games creates educational games and learning resources. Future learning-platform ideas are still in development and are described as future direction, not as current accreditation or endorsement.
What are Mīharo Kura and Mīharo Ahau?
They are two directions within the longer-term Mīharo vision. Mīharo Kura explores curriculum-connected learning for school and home-learning contexts, while Mīharo Ahau explores practical, learner-owned pathways for older learners and adults. Both are in development.
