TERM 2 · WEEK 1 · USE WHAT YOU KNOW
Camp Planner
Your class is heading to camp. Can you organise the words, information, gear, money and morning plan so everyone is ready to go?
ENGLISH · SPELLING
Double It Before the Ending
Build each camp word correctly. When a short one-syllable word ends in one vowel + one consonant, we usually double the final consonant before adding a vowel suffix.
plan → planning because plan ends vowel + consonant. pack → packed is different: pack already ends in ck, so we do not add another k.
