Prefix Mixer: un-, dis-, re-
01 · WorkshopLet’s investigate the words for Recipe Scale-Up. Look for what changes, then explain what you notice.
WHAT AM I LEARNING?
Build words with the prefixes un-, dis- and re- and explain how each prefix changes the base-word meaning.
Build and match: re + heat → reheat, re + fill → refill, re + use → reuse, un + wrap → unwrap, un + pack → unpack, dis + like → dislike. Match each prefix to its meaning: re- = again; un- = not or reverse an action; dis- = not or opposite.
